Another Day--More Encounters
A first walk had lots of guys gathered before doing what, I did not know.
On the way back there was a huge plate taken out of the street. Three guys were down in the huge hole under the street literally in over their heads, another guy watching them. Three more directing traffic around all this. Same scene as last week, but different guys.
I talked with one of the flaggers, but had the same conversation as last week, standing for 6 hours is a hard job. Yes, he wanted a Keep Calm & Be Kind sticker in Spanish. Back to my street and the HOA landscapers here and a discussion of whether their job more difficult, moving all the time, or the standing all the time.
A follow up to yesterday. I can say when you send ‘I love you’ missives to some, they are sometimes returned. It was a love sent, love return day which I got to describe to two groups online, which happened to cover most of the world. We discussed the difference between saying, ‘I like you’ and ‘I love you.’ By the end of both conversations we agreed using the latter phrasing could be beneficial to the world now, and then we did same to each other.
I just asked AI what is the difference between liking someone and loving someone. The answer was “If you like someone, you might enjoy their attention and company. If you love someone, you are also willing to listen, compromise, and support them when things are hard.”
Do you have anything to add to this conversation? And this is a picture of my garden now…I will bet you love it.

Like seems to me implying already a partiality of ...while loving is already making the impact of the whole...
Still separating against embracing totally and widely.
Thank you Theresa for bringing a light wherever you are and go. 🫶
I like that the AI answer is mentioning that love is about listening too! Thank you for this writing and sharing the beautiful garden photo
