Community
I started the walk later.
One person stopped to show a sign seen at a school and took picture of same, said thinking of me. It said, Spread More Kindness.
Another person stopped me. We discussed the coming El Niño. He added the effects it might have on Cascadia earthquake happening. That event is overdue. Talk with a third person to find out how my Asian-American friend was doing in their new locale. They are fine, except not liking the traffic.
By this time all the Bunnies were in school and some lingering Bunny Parents outside. I talked with one about the news of the day and that community seemed to be the answer. They concurred and took four Keep Calm & Be Kind buttons & stickers to take on an upcoming trip. “You know, passing out in the airport and such….”
Angling back home, after several kids enthusiastically giving me heart signs through the window, and a person showed me their Keep Calm & Be Kind button worn all last summer on the top of their hat. It was significantly faded. Weather happens. Climate happens.
Another friend then alerted me via text, which I was hearing in my ears, to the fires in Central Oregon which I already heard. There is no longer fire season. It is just happening.
This is a lot. Be aware, and then settle in to what makes sense for you to do today. Does that make sense?
How are your various communities doing? I will have a chance at international communities later today to widen my world.

it takes a community to raise a child
it takes a community to make things better
We have a couple of active fires already on Vancouver Island. Both are under control. The current heat wave ends today ands temperatures will drop to low 20's (celsius). Gratitude to those who fight these fires. What a challenging job.
